To be honest, competition photos - they usually all tend to look rather similar. Perfect phases, wonderful horses. Spectacular movements.
I asked @anika_neugebauer_fotografie for something else. Something that impresses me way more. I asked Anika to send me photos that capture the small (or perhaps very big) joy of spending the weekend at a competition with the own horse. Little moments. Moments of gratitude. Moments of relief. Moments of loyalty to one’s own horse. Moments of self-reflection. Moments of growth. Things don’t always go perfectly. That’s simply not possible. But the joy of sharing a sport with the own four-legged friend is something very special. ❤️
